Express Hydrafacial

• Botox or Filler: Wait 7–10 days after receiving injectables.
• Isotretinoin: Discontinue use for 6 months (e.g., Sotret, Claravis, Amnesteem, Accutane).
• Topical Prescription Medications: Stop using (Retin-A, Tazorac, Differin, EpiDuo, Ziana) for 48 hours.
• Exfoliating Treatments: No glycolic or enzyme treatments for 48 hours prior.
• Chemical Resurfacing & Laser Treatments: Refrain from any medium/deep peels or laser treatments for 1 month.
• Waxing & Depilatories: Avoid for 48 hours before treatment.
• OTC Acne Medications: Discontinue use of Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic acid for 48 hours.
• Cold Sore Prone: If Hydrafacial triggers cold sores, consult your doctor about prophylactic medication (e.g., Valtrex). Start taking it two days before, during, and two days after treatment.
• Sun Exposure: No sun tanning or self-tanning for at least 72 hours pre-treatment.
• Facial Hair: Shaving is not recommended on the day of treatment. If you must shave, do so at least 3–4 hours before your appointment.
• Health Considerations: Notify us if you have any allergies, are pregnant, or have special health concerns.

• Sun Protection: Avoid sunbathing and use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily to protect and maintain results.
• Botox & Filler: Can be done immediately after your Hydrafacial.
• Waxing & Depilatories: May be resumed after 48 hours.
• Heat & Intense Activity: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense cardio for 24 hours.
• Makeup: Can be applied post-treatment, but for best results leave skin clear until the next morning.
• Topical Prescriptions: May be resumed after 48 hours.
• OTC Acne Medications: May be resumed after 48 hours.
• Note on Recovery: Everyone’s skin is different, so results and recovery time can vary.
