A North favourite, our Chemical Peels are completely customized to treat your skin concerns. Chemical Peels effectively improve skin tone and texture, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, prevent breakouts, soften scars, diminish sun spots, stimulate new collagen, and provide super hydration. Contrary to misconceptions, there is no social downtime with our Classic Chemical Peels.
CHEMICAL PEEL
We have 6 different peel options at North Medical, and the strength of the peel used will depend on your skin and your desired outcome. During this treatment, we carefully assess your key concerns, then cleanse and tone before applying the peel. Afterward, we apply a moisturizer before finishing with SPF. As with all treatments, an SPF must be worn after treatment (and always!).
GLOW PEEL
The Glow Peel is a multipurpose resurfacing treatment that combines the powers of salicylic acid (7%), lactic acid (7%), resorcinol (7%), soy amino acids, and yeast-derived oligopeptide for a deeper peel. To get straight to it, our Glow Peels target the signs of aging and hyperpigmentation with some manageable downtime. We typically suggest this treatment to people who want to address issues like hyperpigmentation, fine lines, exfoliation, and overall rejuvenation.
Chemical Peels can provide a little bit of spice to the skin, but rest assured your skin care professional will check in on you at every step of the treatment to ensure you are more than comfortable.
Both our Classic and Glow Peels are 60 minutes in total. This includes 45 minutes of treatment and 15 minutes built-in for a post-treatment review.
Our Classic Peels generally do not require social downtime. If you are working on acne management, there may be some purging, but we are here to guide you through the process.
Our Glow Peels start to activate 3-5 days post-treatment, where you will see shedding of the skin. You will be provided with a post-care kit to keep the skin hydrated and nourished, and following the instructions of your skincare professional will lead to incredible results.
Our Classic Peels deliver immediate, glowing results. Award-winning results are best delivered with a series of peels, which is why our package is a great option.
Our Glow Peels will deliver immediate glow and clarity, however best results come 7-10 days post-treatment and you will see even better results with 2-3 consistent treatments.
We love pairing our Chemical Peels with our Dermaplaning Treatment Booster to accelerate even more cell turnover, and to leave you with dewy, smooth skin!
Our Celluma Treatment Booster is another great option to add-on to your Chemical Peel, either during or post-treatment!
