Contrary to misconceptions, there is little to no social downtime with chemical peels performed by your North Medical Certified Medical Aesthetician and you can go about your daily routine directly following your peel. You may experience purging following your peel, however it typically clears up with proper post-treatment care.

Yes. Peels are very safe, and the results are phenomenal. Just be sure to wear lots of SPF afterwards, as the peel removes that top layer of dull skin, making your skin more susceptible to sun damage following treatment.

Chemical peels use a chemical solution to remove the top layer of dull skin, and have been proven to help reduce the appearance of acne scars, but there are a variety of treatments available, as well as multiple variables to keep in mind.
